Enthiran (The Robot) director Shankar’s dream project with Superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai has generated a lot of interest among the fans. Rajini and Shankar who boast of having a superhit formula have grouped in a exceptional team for this Endhiran Movie. Music director A R Rahman and ace cameraman Rathnavelu also form the part of Shankar’s creative team.
The animatronics of the film will be handled by the Stan Winston Studio (USA), which was responsible for the impressive animation sequences in movies such as Predator, Jurassic Park, Pearl Harbor, Iron man and the Terminator, while Mary E Vogt, the well known designer who has worked in Hollywood movies like Men in Black, Batman Returns and Inspector Gadget will be designing the scientific outfits for Enthiran. Stunt director Yuen Woo Ping, who made audiences gasp with his stunts in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Matrix and Kill Bill, will handle the action for the movie.

Sun TV Network’s movie production arm - Sun Pictures will be handling the production of Endhiran, which stars Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The movie was earlier being produced by Ayngaran International, which is a part of Eros International.

SUN TV Network Ltd One of India’s largest entertainment conglomerate announced that it would be producing the ENDHIRAN. It is Superstar Rajinikanth’s next live action movie. This Multi crore project is to be directed by Shankar, Music is by AR Rahman and Aishwarya Rai stars along with Rajinikanth. The Enthiran movie will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and other languages by the end of next year. The movie boasts of CG, special effects and stunt sequences and will have top notch technicians from Hollywood working on it.
Rajnikanth said, “This is India’s biggest movie and I am very happy to work with Sun Pictures and Mr Kananithi Maran.” At the time of filing this report, Eros International officials were not available for comment.

Aishwarya Rai
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has become the highest paid actress in Indian Cinema with her being paid a bomb of 40 Million rupees for being Rajnikant’s leading lady in Shankar’s “Robot”. The brand name of Rai and Bachchan and a series of hits Guru, Dhoom 2 and Jodhaa Akbar have worked in favour of the actress.
This bollywood beauty has promised priority dates to Shankar when Robot finally starts rolling in May/June. Superstar Rajinikanth is expected to finish his shooting for Kuselan by then and will be starting on Robot. The movie will have a pooja sometime in April.
Robot directed by Shankar will have Superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles. More big names like A.R Rahman and Sabu Cyril are also associated with the movie. Soundarya Rajinikanth will handle graphics for the movie. With its more than 100 crore budget Robot promises to be a never seen before Sci-Fi thriller for the Tamil audience.
